You're everything and every one you want to be, and how you conceive yourself is a large part of how others conceive of you. Play to appearances, and never, never, ever just try to figure out what makes you yourself, without words, or human conceptual understandings. Never try to get to the bottom of it, and understand yourself, on your own level. Because that would be hard.

Yes, you have a "higher self," that's composed of star-stuff, and integrated, and is separate and distinct from you. Oooh, maybe it's even omni-predicate. It keeps things from you, "for your own good," and tells you things as you're ready to hear them. No, it's not you disassosciating, at all. It is in no way a sign that you're not ready for the levels of responsibility that you think you are.

No, your conceptions of "higher" and "lower" aren't hindering your progress, through life. (Hellsing - [R&R with Saint Dracula]). Yes, they're a clear understanding of the way things actually are. Sarcasm? Why would i be sarcastic, with you?

Oi, I have hated hated hated that 'Higher Self' stuff forever. I started looking into psychology, spirituality, and religion a lot when I was a teenager, of course gravitating a lot to the 'alternative' ones, but everytime I encounted something about 'Higher Self' I prickled. It so sounds like a big archaic holdover from Freudian psychology, and done badly. Then of course the tons of fluffybunnyness inherent in a lot of 'alternative' spiritualities and religions, and the sometimes painful clinging to rituals just turned me off completely.

While I don't look down on people thinking themselves something else, inside, different than their physical reality, I know they're going about it in totally the wrong way, like it seems you think. They're seperating themselves into pieces, rather than being a whole. I stopped seperating myself into pieces, and realized that those 'seperate' bits are facets of a whole. One thing, no one facet better or worse, higher or lower, than any other. And besides, I find it quite amusing to imagine myself as a metaphysical gemstone. X)

This is exactly why I don't talk about spiritual crap with strangers. Many things that a person could mention, by the very nature of mentioning them, makes them seem vain, as if they're trying to point out what makes them specialer than all the other kids on the playground.
And higher and lower. . . if people don't understand the concept of utterly imminent divinity. . . then, well, it makes Shinto miko cry.

But omni-predicate gives me this idea of some sort of universal lack of syntactical subject constraint. . . how very zen, or something :/

It's true. I only talk about that kind of stuff, with people i know. I don't brag, or boast, i just talk about things, to get a more clear view of what's going on. Giving and getting the Heads Up, as it were. I know i'm the biggest baddest thing in the dark, and under the beds, and i think everyone else should know the same about themselves.
