I spent most of today, reading, writing, and translating the names of Norse Gods, breaking them down into the meanings of each Rune. The amazing amount of discomfort felt, upon waking, due the the Norse Overload, in the dreams, subsided, a bit, and that was welcome.

I also went to campus, today, and wandered around, somewhat aimlessly. Got the book, from [livejournal.com profile] raoin, for my British Literature class, and i hung out with a bunch of people. I wouldn't have gotten to see them, had i not gone downtown, today, so that was nice. Saw Capiz, and that was interesting. Really enjoyed hanging out with everyone, today. I even got a ride home, for my troubles. :) Was pretty awesome, over all.

Got home, did my Brit-Lit Reading. Arthurian Legends. Sweeeet. Two of which draw heavily from the Greek and the Norse Germanic. *Twitch.* I got to read the poem "Lanval," which i had never read, before. I liked it, qwuite a lot. This is going to be a year. Unless we all die in firey death from above, and it isn't. In which case, *shrug* Love you guys, anyway.

Sounds interesting, spiritually productive stuff to me. I have recently written an essay in my Myth & Saga module (for which that article I posted came in useful) - concentrating upon Snorri Sturluson's "Edda." (and I so need to get some runes soon/make some.) That was rather fascinating - the history etc. Though sadly last year was all a bit too cahotic for my liking, and I am not sure if I did as well as I am capable of. Oh well...here's to a better year this year.

If I haven't said it already, all the best for 2004.

Your academic schedule certainly sounds rather interesting. I shall be doing six new modules this semester, and Sir Gawain and The Green Knight is one of them. Yay for cool literature!

Happy reading

Faith x

I hope to like this year. We're done Arthurian, now. We're on to Chaucer. Then the 6th century. And onward, from there.

*sigh* The Norseness is fairly well Refusing To Leave... But i'll live...

Why do you feel such negative energy from this "Nosrseness?"

It's not "Negative," really. It's (at least in terms of the way to which my attention is being draon to it) more like a younger cousin, who really likes you, and you think they'e pretty cool, but everytime you turn around, there they are.

Add that in with the fact that, when things get... THIS talkative, it's generally a sign of "something trying to tell me someone," to quote John Constantine. And, as per Usual, i always prefer the Direct approach.

Howevr you want to read and place stresses upon that last sentence, is fine by :)
