"All magicians are non-self-absorbed assholes." is how I would translate it. "No Xs are not Y" means that there is no X that is not Y, so any X would be a Y.

This is not the *only* answer, but if works if you set "non-self-absorbed asshole" as a *type* of asshole, instead of a negative. Their assholishness does not spring from self-absorption. Perhaps they are just socially awkward, or have Tourette's, or perhaps assholishness is a requirement for the job, and when they aren't acting in the capacity of magician, they are rather nice people.

Actually, Tourette's would necessarily make one an asshole, given that it's vocal tics. I still think the rest of my point stands.
