Faith No More - [Epic]--- Just watched "Dark City," for the umpteenth time, and maybe it's all the Lovecraft i've been reading, and how tired i am, but I had a couple of realisations, this time around:
Firstly: "Dark City" as a retelling of Lovecraft's "Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath." A man searching for a forbidden place, making enemies of the gods and allies of the outcast. Not directly such, sure, but it's there.
Secondly: Remembering the lessons of godhood, in your life. Remembering all of the tiems and places in which you were taught to be divinely/infernally powerful, creative, and destructive. Or however you want to think about that. What I mean is imprinting yourself with memories. Your own memories. Sure, you'll need to do a little quantum manipulation, across parallel worlds, but you can just remember yourself as having been taught that, as well.
System of a Down - [Thetawaves]--- Finally, a method to bootstrapping, other than just "Do it." Heh. Just do it.
I'm going to bed, now.
We had an impromtu cookout, here at the House, and I ate one and a quater steaks, a burger, and a third of an Italian sausage, before I just couldn't take it, anymore. It was awesome.
Now I need sleep, so good night, and Dream Well
