wolven7: (Dream House)

All of my dreams were looped, cut together, like "Sin City". Parts were me talking to my dad, about people, while we watched old episodes of the Cosby Show, and I found this apparatus (I think it was part of some kind of coffee or dessert maker), and there was chocolate, on the inside. I knew that. I broke the metal casing, while talking to my dad, and found that there was a some kind of sticky, chocolatey cream inside. In the dream it was fudge. On waking reflection, it was chocolate matrshmallow cream. >_< Ew.

Another section of the dream was a combination of "BladeRunner," "Johnny Mnemonic," and "That Yellow Bastard." Hartigan and "Jane" in a BladeRunner-style universe.

Last section I remember was Me trying to find Tycho and Gabe's house, because they lived in the same place, in this neighbourhood, like a combination of Georgetown, DC and Briarlake Road. I found the house, and they were the "Prophets of the New," preaaching about how best to learn from the old, and understand the world, as it changed. I went to the door, and knocked, and the door simply opened. Summer Glau was down the hill that was the side of their house, at the house next door, and she thought I was someone else, entirely. When I told her my name, and who I was, she wasn't surprised, and seemed happy to see me. When I opened the door, this mid-sized Welsh Corgie jumped on my and started licking me, as if I was its favourite person in the world. I could see that Gabe's mom, and his Wife, were setting the table, but neither he, nor Tycho were anywhere to be found. There were lots of dogs, and they all loved me, jumping for attention while Gabe's Mom and Kara invited me in, to sit down.

The Prophets thing was interwoved, through the rest of the dream, like in newscasts, and billboards, and shit.

Crazy.

Time to get some work done, i guess.

exactly how often must a person read PA before they start dreaming it? I mean honestly, how does a person become fluent in webcomics?

Jus think of everything as a language. Then overload your mind with as much of as many disparate types of information as you can find. Then go insane.

Then you'll probably scream, for awhile.

i prefer to think of everything as an expression of movement. language is just movement as expression.

I see it the other way, personally. Everything is an act of communication. If only to ourselves.

the net sum of communication is the distance between the comunicaees. so when we communicate we are moving closer and further apart.

Too easily viciously cycled, because I simply ask Why do we need to move that close or that far away? To enhance or impede communication.

Maybe they're just not different things.
