I'm tired. I'm out of sorts, I'm hot, I keep waking up ever half an hour, or so, and I keep having dreams about John Fucking Constantine. I haven't even read any HellBlazer, in the past half a week, and certainly not enough to warrant this.

Anyway.

Class today.

Head hurts.

Out of sorts, and everytime I turn around, there are about 14 new posts, on this thing. What the hell, people?

Task for the Day: Bene Jesserit Meditation Techniques. You will meditate on controling the motion of one muscle at a time. Then you will work to gain complete control of that muscle.

I have to go.

Hm. Sorry about the Hellblazer bits...

And that meditation would prove pretty difficult, if only in that all musculature is attached to others. It's all interdependent and works as groups.

Difficult, but that's the point of it. When you can independently control the movemen of your individual muscles, you have mastered your body, on one level. When you can control your breathing, heart-rate and nervous system functions, and chemical production you have another.

They're meant to work as groups, but each one has to work by itself. The chain has to start somewhere, and when you can start it anywhere, you have attained mastery.

This reminds me of a quote I overheard randomly one day

Ok, so maybe reducing you to ash would have been an improvement after all.

That is the general feeling with which today has left me, yes.
