Geinoh Yamashirogumi - [Tetsuo]--- So my dreams last night were litterally shattered images of the things I watched last night ("12 Monkeys" and "Immortal"), scattered across a cobalt blue field that was textured, like raised stippling, or skin. It formed a Y-shape and in between the forks was static, and light, in a three-dimensional elongated box. That's pretty much it.
Last night, Nate came over and we watched "12 Monkeys" cause he hadn't seen it all the way through, and I noticed something I never had, before: About 58 mintues into the film, when they're traveling into Philly Proper, "Earth Died Screaming," by Tom Waits starts playing. I freaked out, because it's hard for me to believe that I just "missed" that. Later, when they're watching "North by Northwest," Cole says "The movie's not different; you see it differently because you're different, each time." Yeah. I also saw the movie completely differently, last night, than I had seen it any other time. Kind of Fatalistic-but-not, a certain kind of break in the loop.
Warren Zevon - [Lord Byron's Luggage]--- Later,
mech_angel, Bob, and I watched "Immortal," which was a damned interesting concept film. Execution was a little off, but the movie itself was very pretty, and had a really strange story. Based on a comic, so, obviously, there were some gaps that I'd have liked to see filled.
Finally, before food, a warm welcome to
jenniebreeden who took my advice, and consolodated her promotional tools.
Food now. Later.
