John Spencer Dies.

God Damn it.

{[EDIT:1.36am] First time I saw him was "Patty Duke Show," not "Ravenous." Jeesus. He's been with me since I was little.}

FirstSecond time i saw this guy was on Ravenous, and I loved his portrayl of the General. Snotty, set it his ways, elitist. Everything a general of that era, with his position would have been perceived to be, by his men.

Then he was Leo McGarry, on West Wing, to me. He was Amazing. Fathrely, kind, Hard-assed.

He was a brilliant actor, and I knew nothing of him as a man, outside of that. But... Shit I just don't fucking know.

Saw Ben, Rhia, and John Michael, tonight. Hadn't seen them in a while, so that was really good. Watched the last half of Kung Fu Hustle, and cracked jokes, like always. The jokes, not the movie.

Damn it all. I'm going to bed.

Wow. That's weird. I juust watched him Sunday and I had never read anything about him being sick. Though, I must say he looked far older than 58.

My first time seeing him was on LA Law. I liked him back then. This old man being all hardnosed, but likeable impressed me. He has a real strong screen presence. I would always be pleasantly surprised when he popped into random movies. The type of actor it is always a pleasure to watch, even when they are typecast.
