Auf der Maur - [Skin Receiver]--- I need something not schoool, not nothing. I need applied liesure time. I need a time in which to shift my thoughts, and focus on other things, so that I may more fully engage in studies. (Voltaire - [Alchemy Mondays]). I don't have that. Consequently, trying to motivate myself to do work on the weekends, gets harder and harder, the closer we get to the end of the semester. I just want to curl up and do shite all.

It doesnt' help that graduate school is.. Not what I'd been led to believe. Led to hope.

But, then, what is, right?

The Offspring - [All I Want]--- Fuck it. Time to get something done.

Now that's just not right... Besides, my luxury addictions are nicotine, caffeine, and comics, with the occasional DVD or CD. No need of anyhting else taking my moneys, at this juncture. :)

Totally, creative work is especially the hardest to keep going and going and not letting yourself time to relax is something that is always overlooked.

it's getting closer to the end of the semester and i'm thinking about what I should be doing over winter break, which is a terrible waste of a good time, which I should be filling with nothing.

hope you are having a good life.

talk to you again sometime, hopefully soon.

Life is... busy...

Trying to get everything time enough to make it worth doing the things that are keeping me from doing the things I really want to distract me, and distinguishing between the two. :\

You should try Q-Zar. Laser tag is a great way to releive stress while pretending you are a Navy SEAL. Just think about it. They give you a "gun" and your object is to shoot as many people who are not on your team as possible while advancing toward their base with the intent to "destroy" it. And you only have 10 minutes in which to do this. It's good fun. Like paintbal w/o the paint, trees, pain, or idiocy of rednecks in camoflauge.

Laser tag is something I haven't done since i was little. i used to have woods-wide water fights, with my friends, capture the flag style. Water balloons, and watre guns (super soakers for distance, water bistols, for up close).

Those were the days.

Then return them. Embrace your inner child and let him fire fake light at foe and friend alike for only 7.50$ a game.

You know you want to.

Meh. College seems to do that. I thought the popularity contests and the layers of asskissing would end when I got there, but no. It just got less blatantly clique-y, and the teachers were in on it...

Blargh. You can do this.
