Rachel's& Matmos - [The Precise Temperature of Darkness]--- Let's ennumerate and expound upon some earliers statements, shall we? This morning i noted that i feel as if these are times for sacrificing things, to gain other things. Leaving things behind, for the sake of other goals. The questions become what choices are best, which further goals, most, and which seem as if they're most bound and determined to be sacrificed, no matter what i do? Sometimes people are only looking for an excuse.

And no, that's not the only thing I mean, here. People are the progenitors of situations, and people are informed by the situations in which they find themselves. The term "People" can be understood to mean solely human beings, a type with whom one interacts on a (most likely) daily basis, or it can be understood to mean any conscious process which informs your life. If the latter is taken to be the case, then any number of things can be seen to fall into the class "People." And why shouldn't it? Ther eare more factors than human ingenuity/intention and random chance, at work in the universe. There are factors of other observations,a nd other beliefs, perceptions, intents. Epiphenominalism, and the isomorphic nature of "higher" processes to "lower," informs us that there are such things as chance, probability, intention, and work, and that all of them inform each other.

Kovenant - [Towards The Crown Of Nights]--- What i mean, here, is that the way of things is Determined by which Probabilities and Chances we Choose to Observe, Integrate, Understand. It's that simple. The more choice of perception (perception of choice; choice and perception) there is, along a certain vein, the more "Real" that thing becomes. The more a group fouses, and controls the conversation, and controls what people see, the more they control the given reality, of that group. Perception informs what choices we feel are available to us, our choices, in turn, create new situations, and how we perceive those situations determines what reality is, and the choices we are allowed to make. The ultimate goal, in my opinion, should be to have reality as infinite choices, by which i mean-- so that there is as little misunderstanding as possible-- there should be the choice to have as manifest "Real" everything we can think of, in any context, if the will, drive, and work, are there.

Tori Amos - [General Joy]--- If the reality of Everything is enacted, then what is to delineate Anything as reality, you may ask? Why must the option of more choice always act as a preclusion to discussion and information. If this is the case, then you can crate a world, wherein everyone agrees with you, and where there are wars, against the "Infidels," which you , in turn, have created, such that "Your People" are always the victors, and the oppressed. You can retain an unassailable possition, if that's what floats your boat. But you have to take responsibility for it. God makes you, you make God; The universe makes you, you continue to make the universe. That's the deal. (Tori Amos - [Barons of Suburbia]). There is, unfortunately, no escaping your responsibility, totally, once you agree to create reality, unless you agree to forget. Doublethink yourself into an ignorant universe, if that's what you want, but know that that will beak down, under the uneven strain, one day.

My point here, is that perception, understanding, and belief of possibility informs choices toward erality. If you don't think that's true, and you don't want to take my word for it, read it yourself: Berkeley’s Idea-Ism said it, as well. Quantum Physics says it. The observer decides what is real. What becomes real. The inherent nature of a Thing, interacting with the preferences and perceptions of an observer, finalises that thing into one state, for the time in which it is observed. When it is no longer observed, its new set of possibilities follows from that interaction, and so on, ad infinitum.

Flogging Molly - [To Youth (My Sweet Roisin Dubh)]--- This is all an extremely roundabout way of talking to you about some things on which i need your help, your work, your perceptions. Et Cetera. Nanotechnology. I'm going to give you some links as to what it is, what it can do, and why it's important, and, if you're willing to take them, we can, very possibly, live until we die. Which is another set of problems, which i will introduce, presently:

Think about what you want, and why you want it... Think about living forever, and understanding and what it would really mean if there were commercially available tiny machines, smaller than the molecules of your body. Seriously think about this. Think about the "grey goo", think about the Outer Limits-esque possibility of bodily over ride.... (VNV Nation - [Standing (Still)]). But think, too, about the integration of diseases, the erradication of drains on planetary resources, the good that can be done.

You ask how this relates to where i started? Think about it. I'm serious, about this, and I'm willing to work however i need to, to get here. This is not a purely technological revolution, despite what i've posted, here. nothing is "purely" anyhting, once manifested into reality. Everything informs everything else. Choices are made, pieces are added on, and pieces are lost, in the process of building and growing. Whether you want them to be, or not, really That's the point, here. The work that needs to be done, requires people to do it, but what people (everyone) want to be involved, and for what reasons (all of them)?

Bobgoblin - [Overthrow]--- The starting answers with inform the path we take, and how we see where we end up. Choices. Perceptions. People. Good to see you.

I'll be back.

If THIS doesn't get through, can I hold people down and make em play Pictionary with this idea, eyes stapled open a la Clockwork Orange?....

I'm sure you're familiar with Wittgenstein but have you read Jacques Derrida?
