You could be feeling a bit restless today and in the mood for play, WOLVEN. You'll probably find yourself chatting with the girl behind the lunch counter or talking with strangers on the subway. It's fine to be social and express yourself, but people who don't know you well could misinterpret your mood. Try to confine your socializing and spontaneous sharing to those who know and appreciate you. At home, you could have a fun evening with friends and family.
Firstly, i talk to strangers every damn day. Some days, not even for my own amusement.
Secondly: I didn't think i was going to make it to "Sin City," tonight. I thought i wouldn't have the money, and i was i n a kind of funk, if you hadn't noticed. Said funk kind of blocked my way to trying. I changed my mind and said Fuck It, when my Mom said "You should go. Do you want me to pre-order your tickets, for you?" That was a sign.
So, before this, i went to work, today, in my black cargo slacks, with missing buttons (safety pins help), black shirt, and black, white, and silver striped tie. And my trenchcoat. *smirks*
This is what i wore, in to "Sin City."
The movie... was Perfect. Frank Miller has begun to redeem himself, in my eyes, for his many past transgressions. Falling into (creating) that place, in the eighties, where everything was grunts, guns, sweating, and improbable proportions. But... In the midsts of all that.. There was "Sin City." And it had all of the above... But it had a Heart. It had purpose and its own ethics, and Rules. You may not have liked or agreed with them, but you couldn't deny they were there. You couldn't help admire them, in some way... And god bless it all, it came through... Go see it Now.
I spent the rest of the day setting watches ahead, for daylight saving time, and cleaning adhesive off of said watches. It was worth it.
God DAMN that movie was good...
