Mission Accomplished, fuckers.
Jan. 11th, 2005 06:15 pmI have one class, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and it is Theories of Religion, with Dr John Herman. Booyah. From what i've seen, today, it will be marvelous. There are several people i know, and with whom i'm comfortable, in the class, and it's a seminar! That means we read, and Discuss! It's all study About the study of religion, though, but it's framed in such a way that i think i can handle it. It's not looked at as the end, in itself, rather another tool, toward greater understanding. Something to be done concurrently with understanding one's own views, rather than instead of.
This is my final semester. Next is Grad school. Which is another reason i only have One class this semester. I need to get all of that shite in order. Signing up for and taking the GRE, gathering recommendation letters, putting in my applications, etc. Religious Studies and Philosophy will know me and fear my name. Or they'll at least acknowledge me in the hallways. *nods*
Rasputina - [Stumpside]--- I saw a lot of people, today, and it looks like this semester is going to reinforce some older and newer ties. This looks to be a damned good year, so far. Let's keep it up, eh?
You need to be reading and responding to the ultimatum, if you haven't, already.
Also, go back and read the Thesis (1, 2). It's also in the memories.
