Massive Attack - [Risingson]-- Dreams of being around family, and the various homes i've known combining into a massive structure, with a main component of the horizons campus. Themes included watching the Simpsons, fixing a banquet meal for many people, and wandering around in the combined back and side yards of all these houses. Everything seemed as big as it did when i was little. At the end, with a flying/gliding contraption, worthy of da Vinci, i flew, and then crashed into/scraped against a wall. It was the wall from the last house, the one where we crucified [livejournal.com profile] tribeofone. I talked with my mother, then, about the Pabst factory, down the hill, and there was something very important about hills, and cars, and stuff... I don't know

Kate Bush - [Brazil]--- Will Eisner has died, today. This is sad....

i'm going to go talk to my uncle, briefly, if he's awake.

Then: Breakfast!

{1.09pmCole Porter - [You're the Top]--- Also, something in the dream about Wolverine and Sabertooth fighting, for the first time, and Wolverine seeing how quickly Sabretooth healed.

And now: Haircut. Later.}

Careful it's easy to get lost on memory lane and not want to leave. I've been there alot.

Very true. Nice jumping off point, sometimes, though. Starting there, with an idea of what you've Done, so you can better know what you want to Do. :)

true. I was just speaking from personal experience and I don't advise the path I chose. I go so lost.

Thanks for the advice. I can dig that. You did, however, seem to survive it, and come out the better, for it.

In the end, yes, but there was pain for myself and others along the way because I couldn't/didn't want to leave.

*sigh*

And there was one instance where someone else made a choice that finally snapped me out of it. But it was...there was no way to tell what would come out of that one decision. Had that one window not opened, I may have lived in that dream world for the rest of my life.

Well, then it's a damned good thing those circumstances arose, and the window opened.

It's always disconcerting to have your fate (seemingly) wholly in the hands of someone else...

But then K's changed my life dramatically twice now.

Mrf. I always find it odd when things become impressions of things. Like it's the things themselves you should pay attention to, even when it seems totally mundane. Hills. Cars. Journeys?

And YES. Things 'seeming as big as it did when I was little' needs to be a legitimate Feeling, at least for dreams.

Maybe. I talked to my uncle about it, because it was about talking to him, and having to go pick him up. I asked if he had to do any checking of cars, on hills. He said no, that it was other, security guards' job to do that. His is to maintain the safety of the people in the compound...

Yeah, it is, and it happens to me rarely. :)
