Johann Sebastian Bach - [Contrapunctus (13)]--- He called her a whore, and he slapped her. No one had ever done that, before. Her indescretions had gone unreported, uncommented upon, for the most part, with all of the others. But he had called her a whore, and slapped her. It made her stop in her tracks, and wonder.

She thought back on all the things she had done, all the gifts she had received, over the years, from her side-men, all the wonderful things she accumulated. So maybe she was a whore. She had received money, gifts, presents, for sex, time and again. Maybe she was a whore. (Johann Sebastian Bach - [Raindrop Prelude]). So she deserved the words, and maybe even his contempt, she thought, for the first time. It was the first time she had ever thought about any of it, really.

It had never been malicious. She didn't do it with the intention of hurting anyone. She was not a stupid girl, she simply knew what she wanted, and what she liked. Somehow a filter got put in, to conceal the damage it might be doing to others. But that was gone now, because he had called her a whore, and slapped her. She saw that she could have hurt people, that her pleasure was not the only thing in the world that mattered. With that simple word, he had changed her whole world view.

But he hadn't just called her a whore. He had slapped her...

The blood would be difficult to clean up, and the broken shards of mirror wouldn't all come out of the carpet, surely. She'd have to replace it. Maybe hardwood floors, instead of carpetting. The police were asking her what happened, and how she could have done it. She was looking them in the eye, and they lost all hope of trying to Good Cop/Bad Cop it with her. She told them, again, and went back to her considerations of all that had happened, and all that would need to happen.

Johann Sebastian Bach - [Andante et Allegro]--- He shouldn't have slapped her.

You around the Office gives the whole thing a new meaning.

And thank you, love... It's a complicated piece of brain meat work.

I kinda think there needs to be something about how "she had been hit before when she was wanting it rough but never hit in anger not like that" just a thought but then I have a bit more of an S&M twist than most are comfortable admitting to

No. That's the Entire Point. He touched her, in a way that violated everything she held sound about herself.

He could call her a whore, and make her think, he could spit in her face, and burn her shit to the ground, but he had no right to touch her like that, unless she said so.

End of story.

Didn't need to be said. It's the soul of the piece.

Agreement. That's the whole crux of it. He shouldn't have slapped her.

I'm also willing to bet you were tired/drunk, when you read it, so that may have had something to do with it.
