A strange sort of social creature.

electroncat. i told her these things: I like being around the people i know and love, but i hate a lot of the dynamics that arise, when they're all in one place. At the same time, i'd prefer Having them all in one place, rather than disperate, and factional. I've noted this, before, i'm sure. The point is that it makes my party experiences strange ones. Many times, I am, at once, extremely happy to see everyone, and utterly pissed that they're there, and doing whatever they're doing. There are pockets and cones of kind solace, and more pure hatred, there, too, where the distinctions are one or the other, Totally, but they tend to be rare.
I made it sound like the party was nothing but bad points, and that's not true. As always, I got to see people i hadn't seen, in a while, and i got to introduce newer people, to the dynamics and the special experiences that comprise a party, with a diverse group. I drank a third of a bottle of Smrinoff, and a lot of Azathoth Cooler. (Joan Osborne - [St. Theresa]). I talked, laughed and mingled, and did have a genuinely fine time, at certain points. I was simply marred, by the earlier events, of the day.
I spent a good portion of the night, tryin to find some sort of catharsis and, failing to find any, i drank. Heavily. This caused a bit of a sulk, on my part... So i saw the world through shite-coloured glasses, for a lot of last night, and that colouring was on many of my intakes; interactions, between others, things i didn't have, was missing. Etcetera. But it was good.
People had a good time, while there. Revelations were had, friends were made, cookies were eaten.
Horror Scope, for tomorrow: The planets have an excellent day lined up for you today, WOLVEN. You should wake up feeling refreshed and full of energy, and your mental powers will be especially sharp. If there's anything that you've been putting off doing lately, today is the ideal day to get it done. Everyone will be marveling at your abilities today - including you!

It's odd. Still the party in the middle was a good thing, mostly. Mainly my own oddities made it even moderately unfun for me.
