Catholic Girl, With Celiac Sprue, Told Rice Communion Invalid.

Tenacious D - [Dio]--- I have respect for tradition, and ceremony, and ritual. Very much respect. But there is a balance to be had, between doctrine, and meaning. The act is not necessarily the meaning of the thing.

LUXT - [Suck it Down]--- Yes, if we forget the traditions, we lose a lot of the meaning, but if we blindly follow dogma, then the meaning is Nil. It is Rice. Still something created by God, and if one of the Apostles had been afflicted with Celiac Sprue, i'm quite certain Jesus would have said, "Hey man, hold on, let me fix that for you," and either healed the poor bastard, or made him up a nice Non-Wheat Bread.

What i find sickly humourous is the fact that, if she does, in fact take "Standard" Communion, according to Mother Church, Jesus will literally be killing her. That, to me, is hilarious.

Traditions are for rememberance. Rituals are for connection with the Divine. Communion is supposed to be more than that. That's why little kids can have grape juice, instead of wine, many places. Vatican says. Think about all the Holy that's lost, by not fermenting those grapes.

Coil - [Circles Of Mania]--- Fuck.

Mrf. Ok, I know I like running a bit loose with things, but I don't think it's That in me saying that this is ridiculous...

Exactly... It's... Just weird... Even more dogma, than usual.

"This is a church rule, not God's will..."

Simple as that, and I'm certain that - if need be - it will hold up in any court of law.

Yes, but his turtle-mumblings would probably have something of relevance in them. "He's the freakin' Pope!"
