Snake River Conspiracy - [Homicide]--- I went to "Geek Love," again, tonight. It was still awesome. (Jack Off Jill - [Vivica]). I bought a poster, to show more support, for the group, because i love those guys (the ones i know, anyway), and they're awesome. The poster was from their production of "Dr. Faustus," two years ago, and the quote, above, is how Aileen signed it, smiling, when I asked. She made a great Faust... I miss being invloved, with creative productions, sometimes. Problem is, i can't seem to do things in moderation; when i get involved in creating things, with others, i commit to so many things, and then i run ragged... But the end results are usually worth it...

I went to go get my stitches out, tonight. Now, when they got put in, the Doctor, the man who put them in, told me that i could have them removed in Triage. You know, that nurse's station, in the waiting area? Yeah. This was confirmed by my admitting nurse, and some other people. It was awesome, because it meant i wouldn't have to pay more money, or wait a long time, or hold anyone up. Great. So, when i went, today, waited 45 minutes, simply for them to call my number, and then had the admitting nurse tell me something Else, i was a little pissed. (Stabbing Westward - [The Thing I Hate]). It went something like this:

Her: Number 20?

Me (Walking in, sitting down, to have stitches taken out quickly and easily, sees nurse pulling out new paperwork.): Hey hey hey! I'm just here on a Return Visit to get stitches taken out..

Her (as if i don't understand the situation): Well you Know you're going to be here a while? It's really busy back there, and..

Me: Wait, "Back there"? I was told, when i got these in, that i would be able to get them taken out, in Triage. That you all had the tools, up here.

Her: Nooo.. I'm sorry, you have to go back in the back.

Joan Osborne - [St. Theresa]--- Me: So you Don't have the tools? Well can i just Come back, or what?

Her: Well, it's your choice, but...

Me: Okay, then that's what i'm going to do, because i don't have time right now, and i thought this could be done, rapidly, and there are a lot of people, out there, that need a lot more help than I do.

Her: If you're sure...

Me: Yeah, i'm sure. (I walk out, storm out of the waiting room, leave).

Her (heard, over my shoulder): Twenty-one?

And that was that. i know it could have been a hell of a lot worse, but that was really annoying, when i know vet technicians who can do it for free, in a very few minutes. The amount of wasted time, and the fact that someone was either A) grossly mistaken about the capabilities of the Triage staff, or B) lying to me, really pissed me off.

C-Tec - [Foetal]--- So, honestly, i own small-bladed scissors, and i'm giving serious thought to doing this myself. It'll be an experience. ^_^ Heh. It's not as bad as all that, but i was really annoyed.

Other than that, saw Sparky, and [livejournal.com profile] karishi, because they came to the play, and that was good. The whole day, over all, was good. Very pleased. Always look on the Bright... &c. *nods*

No pulling open your face, love. *nods*
Are they that annoying, though?

Not any more. They were simply annoying enough, every time i tried to stratch my nose, or something similar. They got in the way.

No longer.
