12-year old Castro asked Roosevelt for a ten-dollar bill.

O_o

Holy Crap... That gives me wonderfully sad images of Castro, sitting in his compound, staring off of his balcony, thinking wistfully about that one ten-dollar bill he wanted, as a child. Maybe, briefly, asking himself if things would have been different (a speculative nostalgia rightly allowed to man his age)... And then going back to ruling his country.

Wow..

I'd say they might have. Apparently, it was all he ever really wanted as a child, and Roosevelt (or his "people") just sorta gave him the brush-off.

Exactly. And very few others seem to Get that... It was a freaking 10. Even in Roosevelt's time, that wasn't that much... Shit make a counterfeit, and send it... Don't just ignore the kid.

Remember these lessons, people.
