That's not an explanation, that's an excuse. You're telling me we'll step all over alll kinds of shit, and start an unneeded war for the shit, in the first place, and then let it be taken away? Nope. Doesn't add up.
Couple of factors are off, here, and i smell conspiracy, of Some sort. Not specifying which, just yet...
opec has been screwing the world since the 70's. They limit production and it jacks up the prices. The thing that makes me nuts is we don't need the oil in the first place we can run everything on freaking water but we live in an oil based economy so we can't just take the worlds largest economy and shift it to hydorgen base. It would bankrupt too many people and companies, needs to be a gradual shift.Think of opec like a crack dealer, the only one in town, and he pays the cops regularly so he can sling his rock for whatever he wants and the crackheads line up to pay it, and you have the best analogy that I know for opec.
And it never occurs to anyone that that's because it's a temporary occupation with pseudo-moral intent, and this is why our government made the promise not to lay a finger on their oil as it is their ONLY resource with which to rebuild, and thus far has actually kept that promise. . . ~_~;; So, this is, in fact, a good thing :x
It's still true, and funny. The point is that, one way or another, in a country that we've recently helped to *ahem* "Liberate," we still shouldn't be seeing gas prices, this high.
Rumour/Plan has it, they're suposed to drop right before the election.
