Story Statement.

wolven7I still have your picture, as my background. I use it to study the lines of your face, and the bone structure, underneath it all. The distinct colour of your eyes, and the pale and rosed tone in your cheeks. The curve of your lips and the way your hair frames your face, remind me, constantly, of the physicallity of you...
People keep asking me "Who's that, in that picture?" And i say "a friend," or similar brush off... And the more astute will see another picture, somewhere in the room and, say, make a connection... It hurts to have to brush that aside, but it hurts to have to talk about it, in that Tragedian Ache... because i miss you.
I'm going to start your next letter, tomorrow, and try to think of something to send with it... Something to keep you close.
If i could afford a plane ticket...
