"Indie" has almost become synonymous with "Retro"

Anyway, i really need to buy a car, as it's getting increasingly unlikely that my uncle will be able to go through with his former gernerous offer of simply gifting me with his. This saddens me, sure, but it's ok. Means i have to get something, for myself. Means i have to get my job, at Borders. It would be nice if they called me back, tomorrow. Actually, i'm going to call them. Screw it. It's been almost a week. I think that suitable. I like that word. "Suitable."

Tired, a lot, recently... not sleeping enough... very busy, when i Do sleep... Price we pay.. or something...

And yes, I too have noticed the indi/retro confusion, but I have very few expectations from the masses so I continue to ignore the sophism.

My interests are many and varied. :)

I simply look for bits i like, and really Try to ignore whatever "Genre" into which it happens to fall. Difficult, but can be done.

Always fun to watch others' reactions to that, too. Like when the closest you come to a label is 'Industrial', and you're looking for pants at Gap, buying 15th Century Turkish/Iranian Music cd's, or looking for a place to get the hippiest hippie shoes in existence cause you need sandals. ;)
