Tom Waits - [Dirt In The Ground]--- Dreams, last night, of graduation, from College, but it's in the Grady Highschool building. People i know, from college, are here, with their friends, and i have a homeroom. My homeroom teacher is the one from my 8th grade class. She's having to fail me at math, because i'm fucking up, and i have to go through the building and find people to get them to vouch that i can math, and i have to find my mom. I get back to the class, having fulfilled the requirements, and i want to see my grade, but there's a substitut teacher, there, and it still shows a 67, which i know is an incomplete. I'm slightly upset about that, but not enough to not leave. (Tom Waits - [Earth Died Screaming]).
stellarshifting is around, in the background, as is my friend Amber. I'm leaving, to walk past people, to just get the hell out, and i'm going down the back stairs, at Grady, to get to the Arts& Humanities section (something else, here, about the science classrooms), when Amber stops me, to talk to me, and hug me, and do what is half "I wish we'd gotten to know each other better," and half "Call me, and we're hangning out, next week." Then i go, and find
ladymerrydeath, completely by accident.
We're driving in
ladymerrydeath's car, Spookie, and we're driving through that area, from last night's dream, that looks kind of like Savannah, and we need to go to the gas station, and get snacks. (Tom Waits - [Ice Cream Man]). At the same time, we know that that gas station is... angry wilth us, for some reason. The guy who owns it, doesn't like us. We decide to go to another gas station, so we drive up the street a bit-- a street which is a combination of a street in DC, with this gas station, and two streets in Atlanta, without it-- and we turn around, almost U-turn, more of a backward extended "r" turn. (Tom Waits - [Black Wings]). We're driving to a mall, as well as back to that first, now-different gas station.
It's me, Luke,
unicha, and Ryan, all in Luke's old Rodeo, and we're going to the mall, to see people, and the Rodeo is having trouble, skidding out of control, and brakes not working. At one point the car we're sitting in drives forward, and we watch it drive off, up a hill to the mall. We ask Luke if it's safe, and he says yes. We walk up a different hill to a different parking lot, and go in to the mall through a different entrance.
Inside the mall, there are more people i know, and they're all dressed in military uniforms. Troop practice movements are happening back and forth, across the length-wise centre line of the mall, and there are people there, ordering people around. Brief perspective from one of the soldiers, in a Pottery Barn.
drstrangeal's friend Linda is here, yelling at someone, and
mech_angel is here, with me, working to keep things in order, and make it so we didn't need this military force, but that we can use it, if we do need it. Patrick and
raoin are here too, in some capacity.
Something else is going on, and it's the early 1700's, in the Carribean, for some reason. There is some kind of Colonial war, happening, and the person Chronicling the whole thing is a White man, with Black servants, who aren't slaves. There is a battle, and this swashbuckling pirate-like black man swings in, and starts fighting with the guards. The chronicler guy aims a cannon at the guy, and tries to fire. It doesn't, and the guy turns it around to look down the barrel, check the safety, and so on. The pirate-type screams, "Baron, it's loaded!" and kicks it so that the barrel points up, just as the cannon goes off. The Baron is stunned and scared to paralysis and silence, and one of his servants looks at this pirate, as he's leaping from the window, and says "Honourable, courages, does his Christian duty..." and jumps with the guy. They use a rope to swing to the smallish ship, and there are two other people, there. I know, somehow, that this is the Marquis de Carabas, and that this is a place the legend went and came from. I wake up
Some of those images are residual from last night's movie, and people watching, and reading of materials. Some of it, though, is simply strange.
Still rather tired. About to go eat breakfast, as it is the most important meal of the Etcetera.
Byebye.
