Webs of webs, tend to occur in my house on a regular basis. I refuse to live in a house where there are no spiders. If the spiders will not live in a house, it is a bad sign. Spiders weave the universe, one little thread at a time, but that thread is stronger than steel or kevlar. Nothing we can manufacture is as strong as spider silk. It holds the universe together, philote twining at each end. Dance along the web, and the universe sings.
Even if Chaos rules the web, even if dust chokes its lines, a web still defines its space, its pattern, its presence. Pattern spiders move around us, while their small cousins weave the beautiful dew strung webs of morning/mourning. What better way to honor your meals than to give them a work of art to die upon, and become part of.
