wolven7For my 19th birthday, someone bought me a copy of Neil Gaiman's American Gods, on the day of its release. I Love that book. There were underlined passages, and it was read, many times; once to someone, on a drive to and from Nashville. I wrote down quotes, on Post-It notes, and i stuck them to surfaces, around down town Atlanta, where they remainded for days at a time. I lent the book to people, and, due to various circumstances, i haven't been able to get it back.
Doesn't matter, anymore. Sentimental value aside, it's ok, now. Well, it was ok, a while ago, but, now, today, i got my Christmas present, and everything's awesome. The signed, author's prefered edition of American Gods, with about 40 new pages of material, originally left out... And i am extraordinarily happy. Because i love books, and especially special books.
And All Books Are Special.
