It was... interesting. Definately could have had more showings of Jews who felt it was wrong to crucify the poor bastard. The thief who wanted him dead got an... interesting punishment, out of it. I liked the portrayal of Satan. A lot. Yeah, i'd recommend it.

I saw it saturday, but am holding off on posting my thoughts until I see it again, this time not reading the subtitles to see it as Gibson originally wanted it seen. (And I'm mentioning this here cause then almost no one on my friends list will see it.)

Heheh. Well, yeah, Gibson didn't want the subtitles, and i can honestly see that it would have worked without it.

I dug it. And i'm not even Christian. :)
