Dreams last night were of Nazi concentration camps for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as run by Shredder. The camps had the layout of one of the enemy compounds from Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, only more enclosed, tighter corridors, and it was also a Wal-Mart. There were thousands of Turtles, and the camp was by the beach. Ever once in a while, there'd be a breakout attempt, and there'd be a battle, with Shredder, on the beach. He would subdue the attempt, and anyone not in one of the Safe Areas, when the uprising was quelled, was severely punished. During the last one, me, a very scared Michaelangelo, and another young, very weak-looking turtle, were hiding in what had always been the safe area. Two large Enforcer Turtles came around the corner, and told us that we were in the wrong place, that the safe area had been moved to the movie theater. We followed them, there, and the movie theater was also a very small laundry room, and Shredder was there, and he put out hands inthe standart hand-shackles, as soon as we were lead in. We were all surprised, and scared. Shredder said something about us all working together, and it boiled down to the fact that either i could go out, and spend the night with the Watch Dog, or he'd kill the young, weak turtle, right there. April was there, and upset about the whole thing. I simply sighed, and was exasperated that Shredder even thought i wouldn't go out there. I knew i'd have to snap the watch dog's neck, and i was sad about that. That's about where i woke up.

Prior to that part of the dream, there was something about me, [livejournal.com profile] comorbid, and [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel hanging out with some girl who wanted to be more to me than simply a friend, and i kept telling her no, trying to explain that i wasn't interested, in her. It got to a place where we were in an apartment complext, on a hill, overlooking the highway, with a Waffle House, across the street from the parking lot, and it was nearing dawn, but in a way that it would Always be Nearing dawn. And we all said to her, "Well, do you want to go upstairs to your place, and we'll see you later? Or we could all go to Waffle House, and hang out, some more." That's about when the dream switched.

I was running through Wal-Mart, looking for birthday presents, for some of my younger cousins, on my dad's side. Looking at things like Transformers, and G.I. Joes, and being annoyed at what had become of the things i loved, when i was a kid. Still, i had a time limit, and i was trying to get through all of it. That's when it went to the Concentration Camp part.

Very strange things, there.

Still sickish, still trying to make that better, if at all possible, before Wednesday. We'll see... I hate flying, while sick. It always makes it worse.

Actually, now that I think of it, The Ninja Turtles were the most prominent aspect of my weekend. Turtles references - both spoken and seen - just kept popping up the whole time.

Yeah, not surprising... Damned nostalgia...

Yeah, it all started with Comic Book: The Movie.
