Suddenly, you've become a nitpicker, WOLVEN. Are you sure it's the right approach to take? With such profound changes taking place within you, do you really expect your intellect to be capable of grasping them in their entirety? Wouldn't it be wiser to shut down the usual rational machinery and rely on pure emotion and intuition? No? Well, then you're in for a headache. Buy some aspirin, at least...

Fleming & John - [Delusions of Grandeur]--- Had next to no fun, besides seeing people, and that, briefly. Seriously, this time, folks? Remind me, next time i say i want to throw a party, that i hate throwing parties, and that i never have fun, at them.

Nine Inch Nails - [Reptile]--- First time the cops ever got called, though. Noise complaint. {At 2.30 am, or so.}

Crashed at 8, with people still awake. Woke up at... 1ish? That sounds about right.

Bleh, i'm out.

Then show up. We'll get you drunk, or something. I'm not going to have another party, i think, until it's time for my birthday... And hopefully i won't have to throw/babysit my own birthday, again, this year...

Someone called me "Too super-reliable," last night... maybe they're right.

Right as soon as i have any Money to spend on trips to London. Hell, DC and Philidelphia are hard enough. One day, when i rule the world, i'll fly wherever i want, for free. ^_^

you have a maximum of 3 years from this Beltaine to get your ass here unless you want to be Late for Judgement Day and the afterparty. be cooler if you could get over here for summer solstice though - need to jump two dimensions to go collect something that was left somewhere special hundreds of years ago.

Quite honestly, by that point, i don't plan for money or planes to be a necessity, to get anywhere. That's the goal, at any rate.

yeah... it was pretty crazii last night...
the party last week seemed pretty good so I was wondering what changed in people that made last night so... whatever it was.
I tried to be good and help though! ^___^
I will be sad to not have Damien Parties to go to, but I can see why you wouldn't much want to deal with them anymore.
*hugs again*

I dunno what changed, and if i did, it wouldn't be a problem. Thank you, very much, for trying to help.

I may have more parties, but not if they are my sole responsibility. That's too many drunken people to babysit.

*hugs* Thanks.

I know what happened. I wasn't there!

Ok, maybe that wasn't it. I had planned to go, but was too hung over yesterday from Tequila Thursday at the N9 house.

Yeah, hangovers don't make for good party incentives... Fair enough, then, and i understand.

Things that happened at damien's party:

People got drunk
People lost tops
People played Soul Caliber
People talked really loud on the porch, some of them naked
Cops got called by neighbors, and residents of the house got one step closer to eviction
People got into a fight about something, and left with nasty looks on their faces
Damien locked himself in the bathroom and wept silently while spewing vomit every halfhour

I KNOW im right, And i didn't even go

I think the seeing the comment, and the re-meeting you, at the other party helped click everything into place, for him. Just a guess.

From: [identity profile] momentai.livejournal.com
No, i didn't. Not till after the party where I met you again and then when you responded to wolven's post about the new party. then I put 2 and 3 together and got you.

Might I suggest that you try throwing a party that you don't invite 9876934287645083 people to? Smaller events are less likely to get out of control. I'm sorry it went badly though *hugs*

Yeah, but you know that i hate being exclusive, in things like parties.

Yeah, well, maybe i'll learn, this time. Cops have an odd way of punctuating lessons, for me, even if their appearance is brief. *hug*
From: [identity profile] teididh.livejournal.com
sooner or later, if you actually want to get anywhere with this party thing, you need to learn to organise. Not everyone is going to be happy at every kind of party.

i know this goes against your party philosophy, but at those gigantic mixer things you throw some things simply WILL devolve to lowest common denominator. You can't throw an orgy and invite a pack of prudes, you can't throw a drug party and invite the biggest narcs you know, you can't throw a booze-up and invite a bunch of light-weights you'll have to babysit all night.
From: [identity profile] wolven.livejournal.com
Yeah, well, i can see your point, but even still. I seriously dislike the aesthetics of Themed Parties, and inviting Certain People...

I dislike being exclusive...
