Nancy Sinatra - [Bang, Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)]--- For those who don't know, every year, for four years, now, AL and Bob have been making a Valentine's Day CD compilation, and distributing their efforts to the unsuspecting populace. The past two years, i've been involved in making those efforts realised, with song suggestion/selection, and CD burners. This year Rosie, upon getting her copy of the CD, talked to someone at WRAS, being Georgia State's Radio Station, and guess what's going to be played, {Saturday, it being Valentine's Day}, at some point between 10 am and 12pm? (Cake - [Daria]). For those of you who didn't get a copy of the CD, i would suggest listening, tomorrow. They will announce our names, and out works, and then play the CD. Spreading the Gospel, as it were. Moo hoo ha ha ha.

In other news, remember The Human Clone Thing, from a few weeks ago? (Chris Cornell - [Can't Change Me]). Well they've verified it. It is a fully functional, true human clone. (Bush - [Glycerine]). And will be used for Thereaputic Cloning. Stem cells were harvested from the embryos, already, for testing, and usage. It is, as they say, a brave new world. Life is pretty good, with that in mind.

Interesting dreams, last night, and i think i did ok on that History test, today. Now i'm hungry. So i'm going to go eat. Later, all...

Why? I was talking about this very progess, today... There are seeral ways that this can lead to wonderful things. Sure, several ways it can be horrible, but why not work toward the good?

1. Does WRAS have an audio stream?

2. I can only wonder how the anti-abortionists will react.

1) No. They TRIED, god help them, but too many legal issues.
2) Screw them. If they don't want a new heart/lung/liver/kidney made from these things, or their or their child's life saved by some cure made from these... then fine. Fuck em. And take the Kid, and get em treated properly, by a parent that deserves them. Its the fertility drugs which should be banned.

1)Yeah i found that out, too. They're still trying to find loopholes. :)

2) Yeah, and if they knew anything about Theraputic Cloning, they'd know that the embryos, used, couldn't have been brought fully to term, anyway, as there was a completely different process. Silly people.

Cloning for parts kind of IS creepy, though. I mean, shit. Who's to say that such a thing would or wouldn't have a soul, and if so, what happens to the soul when you 'salvage' it?

I've been thinking about this, since i was Very Small, and i Learned abotu the concept of cloning. Say that it Does have a soul. In my opinion, everything, in the universe, has a soul and an essence. From blades of grass, to molecules of air, to your very, individual cells. Everything. Everything you do, affects everything else, and if it has a soul, it may die. It moves on. In my opinion, that doesn't mean you stop Doing (despite what the Jainists might say), but that you Respect and undertsand what you're doing To things.

That said, if every created thing has a soul, then your Pen has a soul, and how does it feel, when you throw it away? This is where intent comes to bear. Any soul that inhabits that embryonic clone does so, either A) knowing full well what it's doing, and chosing to do so, so that that cell may exist, and it may experience that, for whatever reason, or B) does so as a "Victim of Karma." I, of course, lean toward believing the Former. That soul, when done, there, moves on, again, and does something else, like any other soul.

My belief, on the whole thing.

God, you should realise what Hitler didn't: If anything "Pure Blooded Ayrans" are not superior. They are more susceptible to skin cancer, and go blind easier. Eugenics aside (cause i would hope people had watched their fucking OuterLimits), yeah, there are some issues with cloning. But i hope for the good, while preparing for the bad.
