wolven7So that whole backhanded guilt thing didn't happen. Which is good. Simply shows to go you that expecting anything is a bad idea. "Expecting too much, the expectation/ projects the image of a tree bloomed bare."
Anyway, i realised so things, last nyte, after the party. Firstly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, there is a VERY big difference between Hardcore, and Badass. Hardcore is standing up for what you believe in, drawing from Your strengths and ideals and an intent to get things done, related to these ideals, No Matter What. i have a friend, and she is by no means Badass. She has a great many talents and abilities, but, when it comes down to it, she's a cute little fox girl. She IS, however, Extremely Hardcore. One of the most important things in her life is her friends, and she will stand up for, protect, and defend them, Come What May.
Badass comes from somewhere else. And simply being badass does not in any way mean that you will be Hardcore. Badass comes from talent, natural ability, skill. and using it well. Being proficient. If your badass does not have a base in some deeper will, understanding, or ideal, then it's showing off. Nothing more. You can be Hardcore, without being badass, and, certainly, unfortunately, you will see more Badasses lacking their Hardcore than Hardcores lacking their Badass.
Hopefully that made some kind of sense. i realised that, along with Hardcore, everything about YOU comes from YOU. Comes from the part of you that says "hey, i think it'd be cool to exist now." That's the Spark that is You. That spark is present in all things, and, no matter what else may surround that Spark, it is still You, and has certain properties that attracted the other parts of "You" to you. Understand? No matter what, you would be you. There might be different outsides, or no gods-given attributes, but that's ok. You'd still be there. You'd just have to work harder. And that's why so many people are not Hardcore, but are Badass. They don't realise this distinction. They don't try, after they reach that plateau... Advance. Grow. Learn.
