wolven7This is a good day to connect with positive spiritual energy, WOLVEN. You might enjoy getting out in nature and taking in some healing energy on a long walk. You might need some grounding right now. Try to still the chaotic voices inside your head. Turn off this mental noise with some meditation or contemplation. Voltaire - [The Night]--- Went bowling, tonight, but didn't actually bowl. 1) i don't bowl, 2) i had no money, if i Did bowl. It was hilarious to watch, though, and Happy birthday to Elizabeth M.
I was talking with my dad, today, about the imbedding, and the SI-UC/FI-UC stuff, and i... well i always have Trouble talking about the more tenuous relationships, between my science and my spirituality, with my dad, because i see him as a man of hard science, and investigative/experimental spirituality. (Wümpscüt - [Angel]). So, as i started talking to him about the connections between Perdido Street Station, GEB: an EGB, and the things about which we had been talking, i was a little nervous, and talking fast. The upshot of it was that i told him that i was investigating intentionality, at which point he got kind of quiet and said "Be careful with that, son. I mean, look into it, mess around a bit, but... just don't do with It what you do with everything else. I mean, when you look at intentionality, you have to realise that, it's interesting and all, but think back to the roots; I mean, the Manhattan Project, in the 40's, and then, further back to the late 18 hundreds. I mean, no one gets out of it unscathed, you know?"
Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - [Yog-Sothoth]--- And then he started talking to me about the advances in sciences, made at certain points, but i wasn't listening as well as i should have been, as i was mulling over the things he'd said, just before. It all wound Back. Oh, it was about conspiracy theory, and useage of technologies, in dry environments, such as the desert. People gettig too drawn into things... And that made me want to talk to him more, about the book, and the Crisis Theory, and Torque, and the correalations Miéville draws, there. How Crisis is like Quanta, and Torque is like early atomic trials, only with magic (Read the Book.), and i wanted to go into All of this, but i didn't. (Pain - [Thimbledrome]). I contented myself with telling him that it was all connecting, and that it was all Very Interesting, but that i was trying to find a way to make it Useful... He agreed, and, again, suggested a CD Rom, which he has, about applied robotics... Hmm...
Very strange, indeed.
I'm going to go, now, because i've run out of things to say, for the moment, without rambling incoherently. And i can do that, in my own headspace.
