Voltaire - [The Night]--- So, i've replaced my smoking (that burning, inhalation of fire) with sharpening my sword. Making it analogous, in my mind with the physical actions. Taking what it means to sharpen this sword, and applying tht to my mind, and emotions, and soul. Giving it an edge and, thereby, making it better able to fulfill its purpose... I still miss fire, and the accidental inhaling of metal dust just is not the same... but it will do, for now.

I'm going to go to bed, soon, and meditate, and sharpen, prior to that. There are german excercises which need to be done, and places called, for car and job situations. Tomorrow is the day for all of the above. I hope that, in the end and course of your days, you find a clarity, and an edge. Something that reflects and refracts things, in the ways that you need to see them.

Internalise, i guess.

Something that occurred to me about smoking: that it is a controlling force that tries to masquerade as a force of rebellion and freedom. Kind of like Magneto from the X-Men movies.
Just thought you'd appreciate the irony, people shackling themselves to the floor in order to rebel.

Gah, too...many...Iron-y/Magneto jokes...must...resist...

So the german guy leaves thinking you make waffles in america using waffle eggs and that we get our pizzas at the pizza hat.

You don't even need to watch it. You get everything anybody could possibly get out of such a movie, just by reading the title. It's fantastic.

Never did it for the "rebellion." But that controlling force, can be chanelled, i think. Any habit is a control. Breathing. Eating, smoking, doing heroin, whatever.

What about the germans and waffle-specific eggs? i think i missed something. Then, i often do.

I don't doubt it. *sigh* Now i HAVE to watch it. In a large group of people. At a party.
