To espouse what is apparently a very unpopular opinion: I Liked It. All of the failings were no more than i expected, considering i didn't want there to be a sequel series, in the first place. It was not a stand-alone film. There were bits and pieces that rubbed the wrong way, and not enough of the Potential was realised to my satisfaction, for me to call it "excellent," or even "Awesome," but it was, in my opinion, not a Bad film.

And yes, i have very recently, watched the first two. I watched the first one on Satyr's Day, as ayou may remember, and i watched the Second, this evening.

They were very fresh in my mind.

My opinion. Doesn't have to be yours.

{12.39am Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - [Goin Down To Dunwich]--- It unfolds, slowly, an origami paper ball of a film... (C-Tec - [Foetal]). Realisations. I'd suggest it. Oh yes.}

You arent the only ones. Shesh. Go back and read my Matrix review (http://notes.strixus.net/archive/2003_11_09_archive.php).

"Why, Mr Anderson, Why?"

It wasnt a question. It was a plea for a reason to exist.

*blink* I liked it. I don't understand the people who venomously hate it - I think perhaps they went in expecting to hate it. It's like most things shiny and popular and neat - since it is such, it is also trendy to hate it, very verbally.

I want them allllll on dvd. Need money for Reloaded, have the first and Animatrix *nods*

The people who didn't like it said that they had problems with the writing, and they felt that it was all "phoned in." They also wouldn't listen if/when i were/was to go off about the spiritual aspects, other than the obvious Christ comparrison. See the Sanskrit, for further details.

i need the first one. I have Reloaded, and the Animatrix... Lords bless that Kid.

*snerk* Folks who refuse to see the hinduism references have their heads up their asses. How about the ENTIRE first scenes of the movie, and the last? Among many other things... oh well. Limited learning, limited viewpoint, maybe.
