AL and I are trying to steam rice, in the name of science. Ghetto-Rigged a steam basket, from wire mesh. Rice has been steaming for well over an hour. Barely even Near done. I'm thinking of going to bed.

uuhmm.. aren't you supposed to steam it after cooked rice has gone cold? that's what we do at the restaurant, the microwave doesn't like rice.
