The Following Has some Spiritual And Metaphysical Bits which may make some readers uncomfortable. If so, tough shit. Ain't nobody forcin' you t' read. ;)

Dead Milkmen - [Bitchin' Camero]--- Ok. So, on saturday, we spent most of the day trying to either find a way for [livejournal.com profile] comorbid, and convincing him that he should come into town. After a while, things kind of stagnated, and i had to go seach for a job.

System of a Down - [Spiders]--- I went down to the local Teen Mall hangout (Lenox Mall). I put in my application at Waldenbooks (yes, another one), and I looked in all of the stores, where they could possibly be hiring, that wouldn't make me murderous with murder, or aggrivate my allergies. I made an exception, for this, with Illuminations. I simply love that store. So, no one was hiring, save Illuminations, and Teavana. Neither of them had any applications, and they told me to come back, on monday, meaning today. (Ass Ponys - [Little Bastard]) I Did, they still didn't. [Side Note: I called UPS back. They still don't have any appointments available for me.] So that was that. After this, while i'm all dressed up, to look presentable for Job Search, and wearing a black leather trench, i get some odd looks. Not odd in the "What the hell does he think he is," sense.. odd in the "Wow. That's nice" sense... Was a little weird.

During all of this, the treking around, i also noticed that it was Overcast, and Verily. (Slipknot - [Wait and Bleed]). So i said, No, fuck that, i want to see the eclipse. I don't ask much-- Well, i do, but still, i deserve this, and so does everyone in the city. I told them Eclipse, goddamnit. And i let that stand, as it was, and went about my day. I got home, and got Ready, for the show. I wore the pants i had been wearing during the day, my boots-- i never wear Else--and my Splatter Shirt. (Lush - [Single Girl]). I made the splatter shirt, when i was fourteen, with a white t-shit, and some India Ink, while doing art, needing a place to dry a pen and then saying "Hmm..." It worked out well, and looks like two black and white gunshots, Without Holes. So, i'm ready, [livejournal.com profile] damnedsaint shows up. (Coil - [Ostia (The Death of Pasolini)]). We watch a little of I Love the 80s Strikes Back, and then we leave, to go get patrick and [livejournal.com profile] raoin.

On the way There, i watched the Eclipse phase to Peak. Immediately after i saw the moon, fully occulted, clouds covered the entire sky. I did not see the moon, again, until we reached the concert, by which time it was de-occulting. It was amazing, and wonderful.

The Show: It was Amazing. There are very few worsd to describe how much i Love a live show. I love the energy of the crowd, and the band, the cyclical charge and recharge discharge of everyone. People pushing all they have into the wholeof the experience. I heard songs i wanted to hear. "Fire," "Flesh," "A Drug Against War," "Light," "Megalomaniac," So many others. Things fromt he First album. And the entire time i was Stretching, sending out. Feeling for it all. The Eclipse, in everyone there, the Convergence, the raw power of every screaming body Voice and Soul, there.

I met new people. I met [livejournal.com profile] strixus' boyfriend, and the significant others of a couple of people i barely know. I saw people i already know, and people i haven't seen in a Very long time. (OhGr - [Lusid]). Everyone i knew melded into a big group, at one point, talked, met, laughed, joked, dismayed at the awful opener (Bile. Apt Name. That's what it made rise, in me.), and generally enjoyed ourselves. As the show started, we dispersed, to various positions, in the crowd.

During the convergence, during the show, i... worked for it. I searched, and felt, and grabbed, and opened, and Pulled. I laid liquid fire on the strands of everything, and let it be there to make it stronger, or, barring that, burn it away, for new things to be made. I left the choice up to each strand, and i set a fire/danced a septagon/indescribable to the Centre [w}Hole. (Eminem - [Sing For The Moment]). I screamed my throat raw, howled, danced myself exhausted, Yelled the lyrics to songs i knew, chanted the sounds and syllables to the ones i didn't.

We got them back, for two encores. The second one was where Sascha said, with a sneer and a snarl: "We only came back out here, because I Forgot My Cigarettes." They played "Godlike," then, and Felt it. It was Awesome.

And then it was over. We left, out into the cold, sans a few of our original party. (Yeah Yeah Yeahs - [Art Star]). I sat, looking around, outside, as people got tense and wanted to Go, and i saw what i thought had to be a hallucination. I went over to the phantom, and said "...[livejournal.com profile] comorbid*?" It was. And lo, it was good. He had missed the show, but he was in town. We arranged stuff, for ride, and place to sleep, and then, with our free passes to the afterparty in hand, we dropped Patrick and [livejournal.com profile] raoin off, at patrick's place, and then went back to [livejournal.com profile] damnedsaint's place.

Voltaire - [Underground]--- While at [livejournal.com profile] damnedsaint's, we came up with a new profanity. So, don't be surprised if, when frustrated, you hear and/or read me scream "Goddamnit! Cranberry Juice! Crannberry Juice, Goddamnit!" We watched a little cartoon network, two scenes from "Rules of Attraction," and then we went to the Chamber.

I saw a lot of people, at the chamber. People i haven't seen, since i stopped going to the Chamber, last year, sometime. It was... odd. People said they missed me, and yelled at me, for not calling; something i do to myself, almost every day. (Zorak - [Don't Send in the Clowns]). But it was good. That's when i saw the band.

Specifically, i saw Joolz, the guitarist, at the bar. I decided to go over and thank him for the show. That's when i noticed Steve, the other guitarist, and Andy, the drummer. While they were occupied talking to other people, i saw people i knew, and got an unexpected greeting . . . So that was nice. [livejournal.com profile] comorbid and i met the band, bought Joolz a drink, and wandered around, because he had never seen the Chamber, before. I Introduced him to folks i knew, and it was cool, all around.

At one point [livejournal.com profile] shar_katye said to me "If you're going to have a blood-splattered shirt, you should at least have bullet holes." So i looked down, and said, Sure, why not. I told

So i looked down, and said, Sure, why not. I told <ljuser=comobrid> to light a cigarette, and we put holes, in the centres of the splatters, front and back.

<b>Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - [Hookworm (Live)]</b>--- When we met Andy, i got his autograph, and he re-introduced us to Joolz, and, then, said to Joolz, "You should write something on his shirt." So he looked around for a Sharpie, found one, and wrote "KMFDM FUCK YEAH!" across the front of my shirt. (<b>A Perfect Circle - [The Hollow (The Bunk Remix)]</b>). This was Always my favourite shirt, and everyone keeps saying that it's getting too old, and that i should Retire it. Well, that's fine, and i couldn't think of a better way to send it off.

Kevin has been at my house, since after the afterparty, and will be leaving tomorrow. Tomorrow, i'm also going down to Lenox, to pick up the applications which I have been told will be there. (<b>Prodigy - [Fire (Edit)]</b>). Here's hoping that i can get a damn job, soon. That would make me very happy.

Everything is... connecting, flowing, interlocking, tripping merrily through the universe.

There are still some things about which i am Uncertain. States of health, and being. Haven't heard anything, but, as my mom said: "No news is good news." Here's hoping.

. . .

<b>Moxy Früvous - [Down from Above] then Ben Folds Five - [Cigarette] then MC Chris - [Fett's Vette]</b>--- This took a while to make lj friendly. Damn username tags, and my personal formatting.

There. That's most of it all. There are some things i either left out or forgot. <user site="livejournal.com" user="shar_katye"> called me a fan boy, at one point, while talking to the band, and i accepted it, whole heartedly. (<b>Jack Off Jill - [Clear Hearts, Grey Flowers]</b>). I also had a cigarette, after i met the band. So difficult, with nights like that, and experiences like those. But i guess that's what shows you the measure of the commitment, and strength of will, doesn't it? Sorry, me. I'll be better to you...

Anyway, before i get too bad, there, i'm off to bed. I'll be back, in force, now that this crazy weekend is over. Until the next crazy weekend, that is. I should really do something about this "Social Life" thing, that seems to have cropped up...

Dream Well
