Thinking Too Deeply{?}
Oct. 3rd, 2003 09:51 pmJeff Buckley - [Dream Brother]--- Is it just me, or is anyone else still Really bothered by the fact that Windows has a "Recycle Bin?" I mean, sure, Environmental Awareness, and all that whoo-hah, but JEBUS CRIPES, things should have an extent.
Res - [I've Known The Garden]--- I suppose, however, that the bits used by the things which were In your recycle bin, are now, again, free to be used by other things. Thusly "Recycled," into the system. So, in that sense, sure. But i'm forced, out of a sense of self, to wonder if they were thinking about that When they did it, or if it was a PC (heh) pun, which was then considered for it's actually practical meanings? Now, another question: Does it really matter, one way or the other? In the end, both implications are there, and it's really more of a matter of upon which you choose to focus. (Res - [Tsunami]). "Hmm. Points To Ponder," indeed, alte Sara.
Personally, it's a matter of intention. I like to know what the intent was, and what it became.
This Moment of Over-Thinking brought to you by Emptying the Recycle Bin and Wolven's FIDI School of File Allocation: 'Fuck It. Delete It.'
