wolven7Cake - 04 [Open Book]--- You know what i hate? I hate that people are constantly within a frame of mind to call anything that crosses their paths, that they don't like, a Myth, or Simply a story. I hate that people will alsways favour Their Position, because it is theirs, and i hate that, upon recognising it, they justify it as, "well, It Is mine, so there," and go about their fucked up, closed off little lives.
I hate that anything that doesn't Mesh, Immediately is jumped upon and ripped apart. That a new idea (or a new way of looking at some old ideas), and anyone fool enough to profer it, are doomed to ignominy, and solitutde (for the most part) and destined to die, penniless, nearly alone, and never having the chance to rise up with Righteous Vindication and say "I Told You So. Now let's move on."
KMFDM - [Lust]--- I hate people who can't move on, after saying i told you so. Who must Constantly bask in their own superiority, and reside in their meager position above others, and their Ideas. So you were right? So What? Time to move along, now, and work toward the betterment of the universe, or had you forgotten about that?

In other news, i read a good chunk of Difference Engine, today, and i love it more, the more i read. The Victorian dialogue is a tad difficult to plow through, but as i tend to think in those terms, and in that kind of "Proper"ness, that Formality, it sometimes flows, easily. (MC Chris - [Cookie Breath]). Read more GEB:EGB, of course, before i could get to read D.E. I have to read 232 (Hah!) pages of Hofstatder, after this section of Gibson and Sterlling. Deep into contexts of Fugues, the nature of the minds of Ant Colonies, and the nature of the Human Mind and Brain. He used the word "Epiphenomina." I was slightly startled, but not so much so.
