I Believe in Belief
Jul. 6th, 2003 03:16 amKittie - [Mouth full of poison]--- From earlier tonight:
"i believe in Everything, . . . I beleive in the power of Belief. I believe that there are Archetypes of belief, and that there are some things that exist, independent of your belief, because they have Their Own. I believe that the Creator created the universe, itself, and then promptly fell asleep. We are it's Dream. I believe that the world we know is exactly the way be know it to be. It is also completely different. I believe that there are fallen angels and seraphim, and i believe that the world is not yet ready to know itself, fully. . ."
I believe that everything is important, and that the choices we make, regarding those things, are of the utmost importance. I believe that we walk a very fine, blurry, world-encompassing line of balance between all things, standing perfectly still, and in infinite motion. (Kittie - [In Winter]). i believe that all things need to be understood, fully, and that, sometimes, the only way to do that, is to take things one or a few at a time. That not everyone wants to try to take on the universe all at once. I believe that that's silly. I believe that that makes perfect sense. I believe that smoking was one of the best things i ever did for myself. I believe that quitting, this time, taught me more than i realise. I believe that i'll probably smoke, again, in the future.
I believe that looking to the future is futile. I believe that our future is all we have, and that it gives us hope. I believe taht our pasts teach us about ourselves, and that they are useless to us, as we are infintely transcendent. And rooted in who we were.
I Believe in nothing. I believe in ineffability, and Ka. I believe that we are all determined to do exactly what we choose to do. Whatever that is. I believe in Newtonian Physics, and all that that implies. "I believe that, somewhere, there's a cat in a box, that's both alive and dead, at the same time." - Girl Sam, Neil Gaiman's "American Gods"
I believe in you. I believe only in myself. I believe that it's time to go to bed. I believe that i won't, yet. I believe in cycles and spirals, and that this probably seems cotradictory, to most of you, but that some will at least try to understand it. And i believe that, whatever you do with it, that's just fine.
