I don't know if i've ever reveled in the death of another... But. Hey. One more ignorant fuck, out of my way. Which, still, isn't to say i'm glad he's dead. If there was Anyone on whom i should wish death... well... nevermind... Over-all, the man had his integrity, and stood by his beliefs. I can respect him for that. He Kind of changed, torward the end, there. But still...

Meh. I never met him, and now the man's Dead. Rest In Fucking Peace.

politician's death week

is it just me, or does it seem like an inordinate number of controversial southern politicians have died this week. I mean, first Maynard Jackson, then Lester Maddox, and now Strom Thurmon...the fucked up thing is though, Perdue had the flags lowered in honor of maddux, who was a racist biggot in many ways, but didn't do the same for Jackson, who was certainly much more highly regarded by most non-biggots....ah well, it IS Georgia after all...sometimes, I hate this place.

I, for one, am glad he's dead. One less racist in the world. And I don't care how much he changed towards the end. I knew a horrible man once, and when he found out he was dying from cancer, he "changed" too. But that didn't erase all of the horrid shit he did the rest of his life.
So today, I am going to do the "Strom is DEAD" dance all day! =)

I didnt know strom thurman was dead..... Thank god, backwards ass bastard, hes the one who put segreation and succesion before the floor many times.... He also couldnt remeber his name half the time, I couldnt stand that he was a senator and I'm glad hes gone, mqaybe we'll get some new blood in there,just my 2 cents...
