k-chan - [Jesus Was My Copilot One Snowy Afternoon]--- So, after i got home, tonight, i gave two tarot readings, one to a person i barely even know. The other to a person i met, tonight. I always find that strange. People keep asking me if i charge. No, i don't fucking charge. Let me tell you what i've seen happen to the people that Charge: They turn into miss Cleo, or John Edward, now; a poor approximation of anything they once had. They are charlitans, and panderers, telling people what they want to hear, in a way that they can stomach it. Helping them get their teeny, tiny dose of "Weird Shit..." But hey... Aren't we all?
The best example of that kind of ability, sold, was in... "Drawing Blood?" Yeah. Poppy Z. (Poe - [Haunted]). Girl sold Tarot readings, for money, so she coud eat. Literally, she was on the street. The readings were really Truthful, and people paid what they thought it was worth. Sometimes they asked for their money back, and she gave it to them. But she wrote a date on it, first. Sometimes the date was far away, sometimes it was Very Close. Another good one was in "Witches Abroad." This witch had this gumbo, and people paid what they thought it was worth, and she would give them free readings. There were Jewels, and housing titles, in the payment bin, for the gumbo...
Anyway... Off to do a few more things, tonight. I'll be around, later, or tomorrow. Which is still later.
Later
{Addendum. 1.50. Art of Noise - [Moments in Love]--- Someone helped me figure out what my main problem, here, is: I thinkt hat the person being Helped should determine the payment, if any. I will never ask for payment, unless i'm litterally on the street, and then i'll ask for what they think it's worth. That's it. Ahh... Clarity...}
