The garbage truck just went by. It kicked up clouds of Yellow, that were nearly opaque, as if it were in some strange saffron desert, instead of the city of Atlanta.

One has to wonder, during the spring, if there's really any difference...

Eww...

Could be worse. The bastard child of all the world's weather systems has stalled over the eastern Seaboard...

Sadly, no, it was seventy about a week ago. Saturday, thunderstorms. Monday night it snowed. It was almost seventy again yesterday. I think the only thing you exaggerated on was the hail. But clouds of Pollen? Bleagh. I'd be strangled by my own sinuses.

snow?

I've decieded the pollen is all some cruel joke on us georgians care of mother nature. No we can't walk outside in January and see blankets of white. We just get so stay inside avoiding runny noses and stare at the filthy blankets of yellow all spring.

Little tip for those who have pollen allergies...
If you eat the honey produced by bees from your local area (and therefore made with local pollen) it will build up your immunity to pollen allergies.

That's a nice obscure fact. It should be added that it has a fairly limited radius, approximately 20 miles or less, i think...but we brewers were trying to figure a way to push those effects into mead brewed from said local honey. Unlikely, considering the process...but still... A preventative bottle of mead beats Sudafed in my book, any day.
