Top o' the mornin' to ya.
Feb. 19th, 2003 12:23 amHouse of Pain - [Top O' the Mornin' To Ya]--- Feeling rather lonely. 'S why i'm back, here, after i had pretty much decided to stay offline. Indecision. Things going strange. Twisting-like. Brain feels weird. Had a test, today. Have another one, tomorrow. Got one, on Thursday. Two, i think, on the 26... or maybe only one. I don't know. (Soul Coughing - [Super Bon Bon]). Feeling not too great. Don't know what's up. Certainly not me... But i could be worse...
Think of something reaching into your brain, and then nervously wringing its hands. Then imagine something else-- one of the first thing's brethren, perhaps-- taking a very small vacuum cleaner, and sucking all of the moisture out of your eyes. Now take all of the shreds of security, you own (friends, family, connections, sureties, things that should Be there), and remove them, one by one, little by little. (Fiona Apple - [Across The Universe]). Now, connect yourself to the flow of events. You know what commercials, what episodes of shows, and what words are going to come next, without hearing context, or turning on a TV. But, now, try to apply that to humans. Interact. "The phone's going to ring, soon." Now wait for it.... That's how i feel right now. Kind of... It keeps shifting, too. Like an Etch-A-Sketch, with dents in the screen. Makes squiggleblobs and arcane picturephrases.
Feeling a little twitchy, and a lot alone. People should call, when they say they are going to.
Later, i think.
