Voltaire - [The Chosen]--- So, i'm going to write a story, about Evil. Not this sniveling, i'll-do-anything-to-save-myself evil, you see, in every mass media mass-production, but True, Understanding, Tao-Like Evil. Because there are people who claim that they see the nature of the All, and that every thing in it is a necessary bit, but those who still choose to Act, act to towards the Good. (Voltaire - [All The Way Down]). Alex was almost there, and Andrew Compton, in "Exquisite Corpse," had the right ideas, but you never hear of Evil, that is crasted, and put in the clink, or the chair, or simply Loses, and then says "Oh Well." Read Neverwhere, by Neil Gaiman. I Love Neil, but Croup and Vandemar were not evil enough to be Evil. So i'm going to write a story. It may be what ends up happening to "Corners..."
So, other than that, i've been listening to Voltaire, and i have to say, that for pretentious Gothiness, that doesn't take itself too seriously, there's none better than Voltaire. Here's a Lyric:
You Bitch you hurt me,
and now i can never forgive you.
You bitch, you bitch,
you hurt me.
And that's the whole Song. (Voltaire - [When You're Evil]). Isn't that Great?! So, yeah, there's lots of violins, and it's got a Gypsy, Irish, 19th Century kind of feel, to it. I'd recommend it, if you like Poe's poems. Other than that, i don't have too much to say, here. Lost the dreams, they were convoluted, and ephemeral. So i'm out. Later.
{Addendum. 5.17 VNV Nation - [Epicentre]--- Ok, so Croup and Vandemar Were Farily Evil, BUT! I still hold that they could have been More-So. The End. :P}
