Which, don't get me wrong, Google Goggles are a neat first step on the road to our cybernetic/cyborg sensorium, but it ain't there, yet.

I'm anticipating the sensory augmentations people tend to overlook. If HET was rolled out tomorrow, retinal prostheses would be high on the list, alongside elbow to fingertip augs. Partly aesthetics, but also because of the sensations of touch the human brain cannot currently process. Deep texture perception, magnetic field detection (with more nuance than neodymium implants). A constellation of things I cannot even describe.
