wolven7I just sent an apology email to my students for the fact that I’ll be late getting their papers back to them. I ended it with
"Furthermore, you have my word that this is the first, last, and only time that this will be an issue, in our semester together.
"From this point forward, there are no excuses, and there will be no further delays. There is only The Work."
I think those last two sentences might just have to be tattooed on the insides of my own eyelids.
