Sometimes I used to pretend to be disgusted by sexual practices other people in my social circle found disgusting, even if I was, in fact, curious or turned on by them.
Even though I don't do that, anymore, chances are I still won't step up to the plate and defend said.
Why not? Well that's the question, isn't it? Self-preservation, sure, but, honestly... That just reads like cowardice, today.
