wolven7: (Dream House)
Muddled dreams and half-bits, resting on a combination of front yards into a large and verdent greenspace, as well as a neighbourhood. Talking with Brian Williams, who was also somehow Michael J. Fox, about disaster relief victims needing help. Slide skating across the wet pavement, back to the camp, with everyone getting into cars, going to their various jobs, which were all the same Job. I didn't get to go. [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel was waiting for someone, who might ahve been Michael J Fox, or who might have been Daniel. I walked past, after saying goodbye to Principal and Agnes Skinner, and almost being trapped in their car... Walked with [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel as she drove to pick up her carpool buddy. Said goodbye, and stood around, watching all of the cars, full of people, leave.

Happy Friday the 13. My Birthday's in two days. Shit. That feels... really weird.

I have so much work to do, today, if I don't want to have to do it, over the weekend. I need to make a list...

Good day.

I'll say this: I no longer really have "plans" for my birthday. Sometime after 6pm, [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel, [livejournal.com profile] lord_of_smoking, and anyone else who cares to join us, will be obtaining my free birthday meal, at the Vortex.

If you want to do something with me, tomorrow night, or Monday, or Sunday, during the day, then you should really talk to me about it, soon. I have a lot of work to do, this weekend, so I'll need to shuffle some things around.

I'd like to see you.

Ta.

Extremist Fundamentalists Disrupt The Senate Prayer.

The first time the prayer was given by a Hindu speaker, two different Christian Fundamentalists are appalingly rude to him. How would they like it, if he came to their church, and started shouting? Oh. Wait. He probably wouldn't do that, and neither would most sane Christians, because they're not dicks.

Open questions to two assholes:

Who were the "founding fathers" of our country?

Why did they begin this experiment (stated reasons will do)?

What were their religious beliefs?

What were their religious practices?

How many of them were what you might call fundamentalist Christian?

Would you shout them down, if they gave a prayer on the Senate floor? Or would you let them speak, because their terminology fit with your dogma?

I hate people so much.
