Other things up with me:
Dec. 5th, 2012 06:36 pmthe pAper chAse - [I'm Gonna Spend The Rest Of My Life Lying]--- My latest piece for The Breaking Time, went up last week: "Someday this will all be yours." Concerning the Apocalypse and Millennial Fervour, placed here, interestingly enough, at the start of December 2012.
Last night I realised something: The Lich in ADVENTURE TIME! is the anthropomorphic avatar of humanity’s Thanatos Urge, given shape and life through the mutagenic fallout of the Mushroom War. Which is Fantastic.
Found out that "Staples to Use Mcor IRIS in Copy Centers"
Hellsing - [Kisenu Dekigoto]--- I posted a Really Long Piece about Why I Hate The Big Bang Theory. Tried to post it here, simultaneously, but LJ was being dicks about it.
Nitzer Ebb - Murderous--- Then there was this rant on my recent rewatching of early FRINGE:
Can we talk for a minute about just how WOEFULLY under-utilized Jasika Nicole is, in this season of Fringe? About how fucking one-dimensional Astrid has become?
In #Fringe S1, Astrid Farnsworth is versatile, frighteningly intelligent, and far more than just a foil for Zany Walter. In fact, in the preceeding seasons of Fringe, the entire CAST was a working ENSEMBLE. EVERYONE had a depth of character which has gone missing, in these latter days (how old timey of me).
The under-use of Jasika Nicole, and the Nerfing of Astrid just underscores this problem, by being the most overt set of changes.
There’s no Sense of Humour, there’s no depth to ANYONE ELSE’S relationships (Charlie As True Friendship and Partnership, anyone?), it’s apparently just Olivia & Peter forever.
Really, all i ask is that they give us a decent Fringe series finale, and not “The Ballad Of Petey And Olive In Days Of Future Past.”
These thoughts brought to you by rewatching Season 1 of Fringe on the Science Channel.
the pAper chAse - [I Did a Terrible Thing]--- Got my hairs cut, today.
ext_325066's birthday is on Saturday.
Dave Brubeck died today.
And Now I need to go finish writing my final exam.
So much to do.
