Happy Remember Your Towel Day, everyone!

This day is in honour of the late, great Douglas Adams, who taught us that the best thing we could do for ourselves, in this galaxy, is to remember where our towels are. Everything else falls into place, after that. It is exactly two weeks after the aniversary of the death of Mr. Adams, in 2001.

So, today, remember your towels, and carry them, if you can.

I know I will.

My mother's cat of 15 years, Midnight, flipped out and bit and scratched my grandmother, when I was two. She had Never done anything like that, and my grandmother nearly killed her for it.

The cat was protecting me; I was asleep in the room. (Björk - [Pagan Poetry]). She used to sit outside my door, and keep anyone from getting in, to disturb me, while I slept. My grandmother was the only exception, after that day. They came to a quick understanding.

Last night's post Obviously offended some people. That's unfortunate.

The article linked had biaases and inaccuracies, this is true. Well spotted.

So does PETA.

So does anything out there.

My points still stand: Domestication leads to better, more enriched lives for animals, many times.

Domestication most likely wasn't intended to be a cruel process, but a mutually beneficial one/

Forcing beliefs upon others (as PETA and other groups often do) will most likely only make those people resentful and less likely to listen.

You're offended, I'm offended.

Let's do something productive about it.

At present, we cannot leave this world alive, so we must try to figure out how to live, in this world.
