Dreams of Houses.

I dreamed of living in, hunting in, running through the hills and woods in back of, entertaining family in, and watching people have sex in the back yard of every house we looked at, yesterday. But they wre all, mostly, the Douglas House. Grandfather, former professor, people i've lived with, mech_angel, everyone in this house... All there. All in various stages... I was making pancakes, at one point, becase i Really wanted them, and i was hungry. Something else, in there, about riding marta trains, with one of the potential landlords, but the doors were open. I was pretty sure someone was going to be killed. Impressions, in the houses, of my two younger sisters, taking care of our nephew, for a while.

There were other things, as well, but i should get going to work, now.

I got electrocuted today! YAY!

Placebo - [Without You I'm Nothing (w/ David Bowie)]--- I was standing on the metal ladder, changing a flourescent light bulb, in case you were wondering. It had a short in it, from the hurricane, and a lot of water damage. I found this out, via the only kind of experience that matters: First hand.

So. I've now been more than mildly electrocuted. As in, if i had slower reflexes, by .0033, I'd have permanent nerve damage in my right hand. As it is, i can still feel the scorch mark, and a tingling. Right index finger.

It makes you think, honestly. (Tom Waits - [Flash Pan Hunter (Intro)]). Not that "What If I hadn't Let Go" kind of way, because I Did. Because I'm fast, smart, and no (know?) better. I did scream, however. That pissed me off... But no, about what it makes me think is the fact that there are so many painful things that I have and haven't experienced, but, in retrospect... There they are. (Placebo - [Commercial for Levi]). Or aren't. They teach lessons.

The store is still without air conditioning, and I may not have to work, tomorrow, because of it. My boss will call me, and let me know. Again, torn, for obvious reasons. Previously stated reasons.

Audioslave - [Man or Animal]--- Other surreal things that happened, today: The train operator stopped the train, as another operator came running up to the operations booth. They talked for a while, and then Operator 1 opened the front most connecting door, out onto the tracks, and got out of the train. He then walked the last fifteen feet to the station, as the train pulled up, beside him. I had the strangest conviction that Operator 2 was simply going to run him down, as he had done something to Displease the MARTA Gods, and had to make a sacrifice of his life, to right things. See what reading Lovecraft does to me?

{8.49pm: VNV Nation - [Homeward]--- And I Just remembered my dream, from earlier, this morning, again... With the Open MARTA Doors... Guh.}

Then I was electrocuted, and then, as I was walking in to have a smoke, in the TinderBox, to calm down, I saw a woman helping one of her small sons urinate. Into the street. I can understand many of the reasons she might have to do that... But it was still Very strange to see.

Warren Zevon - [Splendid Isolation (Live)]--- I'm tired, hot, sweaty, and I badly need a shower, but i simply do Not have the will or want to get up, right now. So i'm going to go drink my soda, and read some things.
