So I just ran across this article: "Claims that the elusive G spot has been located and anatomically described are met with scepticism"

Shut up about "not finding the G-Spot." It's not a vein or some other artefact of standard biological setup. It's a collection of sensitivities with a general predisposition for placement, similar to the sensitivity of the exterior of the penis. Are all penises sensitive in exactly the same ways and places? No.

Shut up. Jesus fucking Christ.

We're talking about an interior space that literally is hundreds of overlapping folds of sensitivity. I don't know it, but I'm pretty confident that if we could take a mold of every woman's vagina, no two of them would look the same.

General physical features and characteristics do not equate to specific expressions within individuals.

So let's just all shut the fuck up.

Ok, you know what? So little is known, in general, about the structure of the vagina, that attempting to point to one bunch of tissue and make definitive statements about what it does is sheer folly. How about, instead of trying to find a Magic Button (which search is not in the interests of women nor of the better understanding of our bodies but in the interests of men being able to press a Magic Button and prove their manhood), we (both we of Science and we of humankind) examine the vagina for its own sake, as an interesting and complex organ or assembly of organs, thereby furthering our collective understanding of human anatomy. If the discovery of a Magic Button procs from that, then cool, but we can't proc a functioning understanding of the vagina from the search for a Magic Button so knock it the fuck off.

you'd think they'd be THRILLED to know there's yet another way they can feel all caveman and uber-virile and what-the-hell-ever about "making" a woman enjoy sex. (cuz you know a woman only enjoys sex if the MAN is amazingly good at it)

somehow this is connected to that weird idea that you have to trick a woman into having sex with you. I'm sure there's a connection there...
